Executive Moves: DB Schenker and Canadian Airports Council

DB Schenker appoints senior finance and HR executives for North America team, while the Canadian Airports Council elects new chairman.

   DB Schenker has appointed Brent Blake its new chief financial officer for the Americas. Since 2014, he has served as vice president of finance and information technology for North America at Del Monte, and before that as finance and IT roles at OHL, UPS, and Burger King.
   The 3PL also recently named Steve Gundlach executive vice president of contract logistics for the Americas. Before that he served in various contract logistics management roles at CEVA Logistics.
   In addition, Donna Hanson Prantl, formerly vice president of finance and shared services at Schenker Inc., has become CFO USA for the 3PL. She has worked at Schenker for the past 27 years. Meanwhile, Marta Ramirez was named DB Schenker’s senior vice president of human resources for the Americas.

   The Canadian Airports Council has elected Howard Eng, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, as its new chairman. Eng, who has served as the council’s vice chairman since 2014, succeeds John Gibson, president and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority.
