DHL Global Forwarding appoints head of operations in Hong Kong and Macau, while FourKites adds to management team, GAC announces new C-level appointments, and Centiro names vice president of sales and operations for North America.
DHL Global Forwarding has appointed Mark Slade as managing director of its Hong Kong and Macau operations. A 14-year DHL veteran, Slade has served as managing director of Japan for the past six years.
Freight visibility software provider FourKites, Inc. has hired Priya Rajagopalan and Kathleen Marcell as chief product officer and vice president of customer success, respectively.
Rajagopalan joins the company from TiVo Corp., where she served as head of product management for the company’s metadata business group. Marcell has spent nearly a decade ensuring enterprise clients’ success at fast-growing startups, most recently as vice president of client success at Yello.
Global shipping, logistics and marine services provider GAC has named Martin Wallgren group chief information officer, Stuart Bowie group vice president – commercial, Ronald Lichtenecker company manager of GAC Dubai, and Tatyana Shorokhova general manager of GAC Russia.
Wallgren comes to the company from the Stena Group in Sweden, where he also served as CIO, while Bowie, Lichtenecker and Shorokhova are all current GAC employees.
Centiro, a cloud-based delivery management systems provider, has appointed Rick Meyer as vice president of sales and operations, North America. Meyer, who spent the last nine years working in Amber Road’s EMEA operations division, will be responsible for leading Centiro’s North American expansion.
