Executive Moves: FIATA and Milaha

FIATA elects new slate of officers, while Milaha appoints CEO.

   The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) has elected Huxiang Zhao, chairman of Sinotrans, as president. He replaces Francesco Parisi. Meanwhile, Jean-Claude Delen, chief executive officer of DHL Global Forwarding Belgium and Luxembourg, was re-elected as treasurer, and Robert Voltmann, president and CEO of the Washington-based Transportation Intermediaries Association, was elected secretary general, replacing Heiner Rogge.

   Milaha has appointed Abdulrahman Essa Al-Mannai president and chief executive officer. He succeeds Khalifa Ali Al-Hetmi, who will retire from the company. Al-Mannai previously led the commercial planning and allocation functions at Qatargas, with special focus on the development of LNG terminals in the United Kingdom.
