Globe Express Services names Americas president, while Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement picks managing directors and Cargotec appoints investor relations manager.
Globe Express Services has named David Bennett president of the Americas. Bennett, a 30-year industry veteran, had previously held senior management positions at “K” Line America, Schneider Logistics and Li & Fung Logistics.
Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) has named Neil McNeil managing director for the British Isles, based in the Isle of Man, and Mingfa Liu managing director for China, based in Shanghai. Prior to joining BSM, McNeil was regional fleet manager (Americas) for BP Shipping and managing director at V Ships USA, while Liu was most recently managing director of Wallem Chna.
Pekka Rouhiainen has been appointed investor relations manager at marine terminal equipment and IT systems company Cargotec, effective Nov. 1. Prior to that, he was an investor relations manager at Sanoma.
