Executive Moves: Greenbrier, Transervice and Hoyer

The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. names president for Greenbrier International, while Transervice Logistics appoints New England business development director and Hoyer picks new Chemilog director.

   The Greenbrier Companies, Inc., a railroad transportation equipment manufacturer, has named Jim Cowan president of Greenbrier International. Cowan will also continue as CEO of GBW Railcar Services. Ray Pericola, who has served at GBW since 2014, has been promoted to president of the unit.

   Transervice Logistics has appointed Jim Lavery director of business development for New England. Lavery, who has 25 years of experience in the industry, was most recently sales and marketing manager for Boston Freightliner, a dealer for Freightliner, Sprinter and Mitsubishi Fuso trucks.

   Liquid bulk logistics specialist Hoyer has named Ingo Wiese director of its business unit Chemilog. He succeeds Roland Pütz, who is leaving the company. Meanwhile, Hoyer has moved its container pool management into its Netlog business unit. Heiko Rumfeld remains Netlog director.
