Executive Moves: Greencarrier Freight Services and Alaska Airlines

Greencarrier Freight Services appoints chief executive officer, and Alaska Airlines names vice president of airport operations and customer service.

Greencarrier Freight Services appoints chief executive officer, and Alaska Airlines names vice president of airport operations and customer service.

   Gothenburg, Sweden-based Greencarrier Freight Services has appointed Johan Jemdahl chief executive officer. Prior to this appointment, Jemdahl served as managing director for Ericsson in Nigeria. He has been on Greencarrier’s board for the last four years.
 
   Alaska Airlines
has named Wayne Newton vice president of airport operations and customer service. He succeeds Jeff Butler, who is now the carrier’s vice president of guest and inflight service for Virgin America. Newton joined Alaska as a ramp service agent in 1988 and for the past two years, he has served as the airline’s managing director of airport operations in Seattle.
