Executive Moves: Halifax Port Authority and HubTran

The Halifax Port Authority extends CEO’s contract, while HubTran appoints business development director.

The Halifax Port Authority board on Wednesday unanimously approved a contract extension for Karen Oldfield, president and chief executive officer, until December 2018. “The next few years are critical in the master planning for the Port of Halifax and Ms. Oldfield will be leading her team through this process, focusing on building for the future,” the port authority said.

Back-office transportation technology provider HubTran has appointed David Cornwell director of business development. Cornwell brings more than six years of ground-up experience in logistics and logistics technology to his new post, the company said.
