The Intermodal Association of North America selects new board members and officers, while Pender & Coward adds to its maritime, admiralty and transportation practice.
The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) has selected Adriene Bailey, chief strategy officer at Yusen Logistics (Americas), as chairman of its board, and Mike Wilson, senior vice president of Hamburg Sud North America, as vice chairman, while re-electing Dave Manning, president of TCW, as treasurer for 2017.
IANA also added Jason Hess, vice president and general manager of intermodal for Union Pacific Railroad, and Jon Poelma, senior vice president and chief operating officer at Consolidated Chassis Management, to the board.
Virginia law firm Pender & Coward has expanded its maritime practice with the addition of Tom Berkley as a shareholder.
Berkley focuses his practice in the areas of maritime, admiralty and transportation, routinely advising marine terminals, shipyards, ship lines, and trucking and cargo interests on operational, contract, insurance and liability issues, and also has experience representing commercial fishing associations, maritime construction companies, P&I Clubs and recreational boaters.
