Executive moves: Kane Is Able, Virgin Atlantic Cargo and Canadian Pacific

Kane Is Able and Virgin Atlantic Cargo appoint vice presidents, while CP’s CFO resigns.

   Third-party logistics provider Kane Is Able has appointed Satu Mehta to senior vice president of business integration. He was most recently vice president of operations at Coregistics.  

   Virgin Atlantic Cargo has named Steve Hughes to the new post of vice president of sales for the transatlantic. He will be responsible for the airline’s cargo sales in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as developing Virgin Atlantic’s transatlantic joint venture with Delta Air Lines. The airline also named Neil Vernon as vice president of sales for international, a role that includes his current Asia and Australasia focus, as well as sales in Dubai, Nigeria and South Africa. Marie Epstein, regional vice president of sales for the Americas, will be leaving the airline. 

   Canadian Pacific said Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Bart Demosky will leave the company, effective May 31.
