Executive Moves: Kuehne Holdings, Matchback Systems, Kuebix and CSX

Kuehne Holdings names president and Matchback Systems appoints IT VP, while Kuebix and CSX pick VPs of engineering.

   Karl Gernandt has been appointed president of Kuehne Holding AG and Joerg Wolle will succeed Gernandt as chairman of Kuehne + Nagel International. Kuehne Holding is the majority shareholder of Kuehne + Nagel International and holds a 20 percent stake in Hapag-Lloyd.

   MatchBack Systems has appointed Tammy Leurquin senior vice president of IT and operations. Prior to joining the company in 2014 as director of IT, she led system development for companies such as Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Schneider National and Rockwell Automation.

   Kuebix has named Suneel Krishnaswamy vice president of engineering. He joined the company from IBM, where he was director of development in the Commerce Group. Prior to Kuebix and IBM, Krishnaswamy held senior management positions at Sterling Commerce, Yantra Corp., and Infosys.

   John West, CSX’s vice president of engineering, will retire on April 1 after 37 years with the railroad. He will be succeeded by Ricky Johnson, who is currently the railroad’s chief engineering for maintenance of way in the north. Johnson joined the railroad in 2001.
