Executive Moves: LISCR, Kalmar and Envirotainer

The Liberian International Ship and Corporate Registry appoints four managers, while Kalmar strengthens its Americas management and Envirotainer names head of Asia-Pacific operations.

   The Liberian International Ship and Corporate Registry has appointed Gerard Kenny technical manager of its London office, where he will primarily serve as a technical advisor to the Liberian delegations to the International Maritime Organization. Kenny was most recently chief marine surveyor with the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry.
   In addition, the registry named Rafael Cigarruista manager of its regional office in Panama; Pinar Saglam corporate and registrations coordinator in Istanbul; Josiah Toepfer vessel and company compliance manager in its Norfolk, Va. office; and Kevin Smith manager for vessel compliance in Houston.

   Kalmar, part of marine terminal equipment manufacturer Cargotec, has appointed Erika Barbosa vice president for sales and services for Latin America. She joins Kalmar from Caterpillar LATAM.
   Marco Nava also joins Kalmar as managing director of Mexico. Nava joins Kalmar from Volvo Trucks.
   The company also named Steve Cianci vice president of industrial markets and counter-balanced products. He comes to Kalmar from UniCarrier.
   In addition, Kalmar appointed Göran Krave director of services in the Americas region. Previously, he had been responsible for the business development in Kalmar Americas.

   Envirotainer, a provider of air cargo cold-chain technology to the pharmaceutical industry, named Debbie Ng head of operations in the Asia-Pacific region, based in Singapore. Prior to joining Envirotainer, Ng was the business process manager for Semitech Analytical Service Pte Ltd and spent four years as the area customer service manager of Southeast Asia and Australia for British Airways World Cargo (IAG Cargo).
