Logistics Plus hires new head of sourcing division, while the Cargo Incident Notification System names deputy chairman.
Third-party provider Logistics Plus has hired David Whitehill to lead its Sourcing Solutions division. A former procurement executive with the Boeing Co. and GE Transportation, Whitehill will be responsible for oversight of all Logistics Plus procurement activities, including in support of client WeWork, a global provider of co-working space.
The Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS), an international association that aims to increase safety in the global supply chain, has named Ken Rohlmann deputy chairman. Rohlmann, a member of the CINS board since 2013, currently serves as senior director of dangerous goods at Hapag-Lloyd, and his term of office as CINS Deputy Chairman will run through the end of 2019.
