Navis appoints general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and OmniTRAX names executive vice president, industrial development group.
Navis, a provider of terminal operating systems, has appointed Chuck Schneider to serve as general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Schneider has spent the last 11 years in various leadership positions at the company, most recently serving as general manager for the Americas.
As part of this transition, Susan Gardner will manage North American sales in her new title as senior director of field operations, North America; and Martin Bardi will manage the LATAM region sales as vice president of field operations.
Headquartered in Oakland, Calif., Navis is part of the Helsinki, Finland-based cargo handling equipment maker Cargotec.
Denver, Col.-based private railroad and transportation management company OmniTRAX has named Reagan Shanley executive vice president, industrial development group. In addition, Shanley is joining the Broe Real Estate Group (BREG) Management Committee to coordinate joint OmniTRAX and BREG development opportunities, and support BREG with initiatives within the real estate investment management business. OmniTRAX and BREG are both affiliates of The Broe Group.
Prior to joining Broe, Shanley most recently served as senior vice president at Colony Northstar, Inc. in New York. He was also previously executive vice president at Capmark Finance, LLC, and also spent seven years as a managing director of RBS Greenwich Capital.
