The NTSB names acting chairman, while American Airlines Cargo appoints managing director of Florida, Caribbean and Latin America and 10-4 Systems names board chairman.
Christopher A. Hart has concluded his term as chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and current Vice Chairman Bella Dinh-Zarr will serve as the agency’s acting chairman.
Hart, who began his two-year term as chairman on March 15, 2015, will remain at the NTSB as a member of the board. Dinh-Zarr also began her tenure as the vice chairman March 31, 2015, and prior to her appointment to the board, she served as director of the U.S. office of the FIA Foundation.
American Airlines Cargo has appointed Lorena Sandoval as managing director of its Florida, Caribbean and Latin America (FCLA) division.
A 26-year American Airlines veteran, Sandoval takes over for Carmen Taylor, who retired from the airline at the end of 2016. She most recently served as sales operations manager, FCLA.
Software-as-a-service (SaaS) supply chain visibility provider 10-4 Systems has named Jack Holmes as its new chairman of the board.
Holmes, who has served on the company’s board since July, previously worked as president of UPS Freight from 2007-2016 and co-chair of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Freight Advisory Committee’s Conditions, Performance and Data Subcommittee under U.S. Secretaries of Transportation Ray LaHood and Anthony Foxx.
