Executive Moves: PECO, Union Pacific and CenterPoint

PECO names chief executive officer, Union Pacific appoints chief legal officer and CenterPoint annouces senior vice president of development.

   Pallet rental company PECO Pallet has named Joseph Dagnese as chief executive officer. Dagnese was president of Con-way Freight until it was taken over by XPO Logistics last year. Prior to that, he was president of Con-way Truckload and spent many years as vice president of Con-way Inc.’s subsidiary Menlo Logistics. Before that, he was manager of North American transportation operations for Procter & Gamble. Dagnese replaces David Lee, who served as PECO’s CEO since 2005.
  
   Rhonda Ferguson will join Union Pacific as chief legal officer on July 11. She comes to the freight railroad from FirstEnergy Corp., an electric distribution copany, where she served as corporate secretary and chief ethics officer since 2007. 

   CenterPoint Properties announced the appointment of William Lu as senior vice president, development, for the West Coast. He will be based in Los Angeles. CenterPoint is a real estate developer and manager for industrial properties tailored to warehousing and intermodal transportation. The company has 58 million square feet under management or development at intermodal parks. Lu previously served as vice president at Conor Commercial Real Estate.
