Executive Moves: Pilot Freight Services, Port of Tacoma and Americold

Pilot Freight Services names new chief executive officer and president, while the Port of Tacoma hires new director of engineering, and Americold hires executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

Pilot names new chief executive officer and president, while the Port of Tacoma hires new director of engineering, and Americold hires executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

   Pilot Freight Services has promoted Gordon Branov to chief executive officer, replacing Richard Phillips, who will move into the role of chairman of the board.
   In addition, Pilot promoted John Hill to president, replacing Lou Cortese, who will retire after more than 30 years of service.
   Pilot will make these changes July 1.

   The Port of Tacoma has hired Jane Vandenberg as director of engineering. Vandenberg has more than 20 years of experience in public works management. She most recently served as capital projects oversight analyst for the King County Auditor’s Office, and has also previously worked for Pierce County Public Works and the City of Seattle Engineering Department.

   Americold has hired Tim Hinckley as an executive vice president and its chief commercial officer. Hinckley most recently served as senior vice president of global logistics at Hasbro, and prior to that, he work for 27 years across a variety of FedEx business units.
