Rob Lowe is named director of administration and CFO and Matt Copot is hired as vice president of maintenance.
Port Freeport in Texas has appointed Rob Lowe as director of administration and chief financial officer.
Lowe (pictured above) joins Port Freeport from BASF and has more than 20 years of managerial experience, including leading multi-business unit accounting activities, financial leadership support, acquisition integrations, contract reviews and organizational designs.
As CFO, Lowe will advise executive staff and play a significant role in the guidance of planning for the port’s strategic initiatives.
Matt Copot has joined Transervice Logistics Inc. as vice president of maintenance to oversee the company’s warranty, purchasing, quality assurance, fleet systems and training programs.
He began his career in the transportation industry in 2003 with Roadway Transport Corp. and was most recently with Holland Freight in Holland, Mich., where he held posts as director of maintenance, regional manager and shop manager.
