Port of San Diego appoints new head, while Globe Express Services names CEO.
The San Diego Unified Port District has appointed Randa Coniglio as president and chief executive officer. Coniglio was selected as the top candidate after a nationwide executive search that began last December. She previously served as the Southern California port’s executive vice president of operations.
Globe Express Services has named Mustapha Kawam as president and chief executive officer. He joined the company in 1995 and has held a range of management positions. In 2009, Kawam was appointed managing director for the Persian Gulf.
