The Port of Virginia names new vice president of ocean carrier sales, while Tiger Cool Express promotes chairman and hires president, and SEKO Logistics appoints president of Aerospace & Aviation division.
The Port of Virginia has named Joe O’Brien vice president of ocean carrier sales, effective immediately. He replaces Frank Naughton, who will retire July 1 after 24 years with the mid-Atlantic port.
The port said it has commenced a search for candidates to fill O’Brien’s former position as director of ocean carrier sales.
Tiger Cool Express has promoted Tom Finkbiner to the role of chairman. He will continue to serve as CEO until a permanent successor is found.
In addition, the company has hired Larry Shugart, formerly of Worley Parsons and CSX, as president.
SEKO Logistics has appointed John Eastland as president of its Aerospace & Aviation industry vertical, based in Washington, D.C.
Eastland joins the company from Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, where he most recently served as vice president, domestic product. Prior to that, he held senior management positions at PGL, Estes Forwarding Worldwide and Allstates WorldCargo.
