Executive Moves: Reading & Northern Railroad, ICC Logistics Services and Long Beach Harbor Commission

Reading & Northern Railroad appoints forest products VP, while ICC Logistics Services names CCO and the Long Beach Harbor Commission picks directors.

   The Reading & Northern Railroad, based in Port Clinton, Pa., has named Rian J. Nemeroff vice president of forest products. He joined the railroad from the Housatonic Transportation Co., where he was vice president of marketing and sales for the Housatonic Railroad’s lumber business, Shepaug Distribution, and Housatonic Logistics. He worked with this company for 16 years. Prior to that, he worked for Conrail in forest products and short-line marketing groups, as well as held positions at International Paper and Scott Paper.

   ICC Logistics Services has appointed Anthony Nuzio Jr. to chief client officer for its Hicksville, N.Y. headquarters and Cary, N.C. branch. Previously, Nuzio was an auditor/analyst at ICC for 14 years, before leaving the company to work for Mayflower Transit and United Van Lines in Wilmington, N.C.

   The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners has approved the appointments of new directors for the Port of Long Beach’s Finance, Surveys and Transportation Planning divisions. They include Maurina Lee, previously the Harbor Department’s controller, as director of finance; Robert Seidel, who has been the Port of Long Beach’s chief surveyor since 2006, as director of surveys; and Allison Yoh, who was transportation policy manager, as director of transportation planning. The appointments are effective March 19.
