Executive Moves: RightShip, KAG Logistics and Stimson Center

RightShip appoints new CEO; KAG Logistics hires EVP of logistics, chemical and specialty products, senior director of business development, and director of logistics solutions; and Stimson Center names managing director.

RightShip appoints new CEO; KAG Logistics hires EVP of logistics, chemical and specialty products, senior director of business development, and director of logistics solutions; and Stimson Center names managing director.

   RightShip, a maritime risk management and environmental assessment organization, has appointed Martin Crawford-Brunt its new chief executive officer, effective March 12, 2018.
   Crawford-Brunt, who joins RightShip from DNV GL, will replace outgoing CEO Warwick Norman, who announced his decision to step down from the position in 2017.

   Liquid bulk transport specialist KAG Logistics has hired Michael Clark as executive vice president of logistics, chemical and specialty products; David Hall as senior director of business development; and Tony Mariani as director of logistics solutions.
   Prior to joining KAG Logistics, Clark served as vice president of transportation for DHL Supply Chain from 2012 to 2017, while Hall recently served as vice president of logistics and marketing with Lincoln Transportation and Mariani comes to the company from Incept Corporation, where he held the title of director of technology.

   Washington, D.C.-based think tank the Stimson Center has named Rachel Stohl managing director.
   Stohl will join the management team, overseeing the strategic direction of the center’s “Promoting Security and Prosperity” portfolio of programming around the world, including the Trade, Technology, and Security program; and WMD, Nonproliferation, and Security program. She will also continue to direct the Stimson Center’s Conventional Defense program.
