Executive Moves: Roadrunner and Fleetgistics

Roadrunner appoints senior VP of sales, while Fleetgistics names new CEO.

   Roadrunner Transportation Systems has promoted Jeff Hershey to senior vice president of sales. Hershey will be responsible for leading the company’s truckload logistics sales, including intermodal, dry and refrigerated sales. He most recently served as executive vice president of sales and marketing, joining the company in 2011 through the Roadrunner’s acquisition of Morgan Southern in 2011. 

  Same-day courier services firm Fleetgistics Holdings has named Jim van Leenen president and chief executive officer. In 2007, van Leenen, along with private investors, acquired Flash Global and he served as CEO for the next seven years. Before that, he held senior management roles at Sirva and GE Capital.
