Executive Moves: SAL, Union Pacific and Johanson Transportation Service

SAL appoints manager of Singapore office, while Union Pacific appoints cyber-security expert to board and Johanson Transportation Service announces promotions.

   Heavy-lift ocean carrier SAL, a subsidiary of “K” Line, has appointed Mischa Tchang managing director for its Singapore office. He had previously held regional management positions in Asia-Pacific with Jumbo Shipping and BifLift.

   Union Pacific Corp. has elected Jane H. Lute to its board. She most recently served as chief executive officer of the Center for Internet Security, and was president and CEO of the Council on Cybersecurity from 2013-2015 and deputy secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2009-2013. She was also acting undersecretary general and assistant secretary general for the United Nations from 2003-2009.

   Third party logistics provider Johanson Transportation Service promoted Jeff Mosqueda manager of its Perishable Division in Fresno, Calif. In addition the company, promoted Shawn Dhillon to carrier procurement lead, Matt Holt to customer service lead, and Pete Donlon to data analyst, all within the Perishable Division at Fresno.
