Seabury Maritime PFRA appointed managing director, advisory; Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd. selected next chief executive; and Truckstop.com named vice president of small and medium business sales.
Seabury Maritime PFRA (SMPFRA), a division of Seabury Capital LLC, appointed Patrick Bird to serve as managing director, advisory. Bird will be based in the company’s New Jersey-based Metro Park office. Before joining SMPFRA, Bird served as chief commercial officer with Intels Nigeria Ltd., part of the Orlean Invest Group. He also previously served as general manager – infrastructure investments Africa, the Middle East and India with APM Terminals (APMT). He began his career in 2005 at A.P. Moller Maersk Group, the parent company of APMT, where he held various positions.
Cargo handling agent Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd. (Hactl) has selected Wilson Kwong to serve as the company’s next chief executive, succeeding Mark Whitehead, who will retire March 7 after nearly eight years at the helm.
Kwong is currently the chief executive of Jardine Engineering Corp. Kwong joined the Jardine Matheson Group in 1998, and has worked in Jardine Aviation Services, the Jardine Matheson Head Office, and HongKong Land. Prior to joining JEC, he served as CEO of Raffles Quay Asset Management, a Hongkong Land joint venture company overseeing One Raffles Quay and Marina Bay Financial Centre in Singapore.
