Executive Moves: Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions and Duluth Seaway Port Authority

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions names CEO, while the Duluth Seaway Port Authority picks port planning director.

   Scott Maccabe has been named president and chief executive officer of Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, a subsidiary of Toshiba Tec Corp. He joined Toshiba in 2002 and has held leadership positions at Toshiba America Information Systems, Toshiba America Electronic Components, and in 2013 accepted his immediate role as president and CEO at Toshiba America Business Solutions.

   The Duluth Seaway Port Authority has named James Sharrow, who has served as the port’s facilities manager since 2002, director of port planning and resiliency. Sharrow will be responsible for overseeing the port’s capital programs, maritime policy, risk management and security plans, plus its connectivity to regional planning initiatives. Before joining the port authority, he spent 28 years with USS Great Lakes Fleet, serving as that company’s engineering and maintenance director before leaving to work as a consultant in naval architecture and marine engineering.
