Tradepoint Atlantic appoints manager of short-line railroad, while Breakthrough Fuel names VP of technology.
Tradepoint Atlantic, a 3,100-acre multimodal industrial site in Baltimore, appointed Paul Thomas as terminal manager for its railroad. In this role, he will be responsible for developing an operating and capital investment strategy for Tradepoint Atlantic’s short-line railroad. Thomas comes to Tradepoint Atlantic (formerly Sparrows Point Terminal LLC) from CSX.
Elaine Stephens has been promoted to vice president of technology and data science at Breakthrough Fuel, a global supply chain management and transportation energy advisory firm. In her new role, she will oversee all global technology and business development teams, and the data science team that provides insights into 11 million transactions managed by Breakthrough Fuel annually.
