Transport America replaces retiring president, while CEVA Logistics selects COO of Global Air and Ocean Freight.
Transport Corporation of America, Inc. has selected Keith Klein to succeed Scott Arves as president when Arves retires June 1, 2015.
Klein, who joined Transport America in 1999, is currently an executive vice president and the company’s chief operating officer. He has previously served as chief financial officer and chief information officer.
Scott Arves was a leader in the transportation industry for over 36 years, serving as president of Transport America for the last 9 years.
CEVA Logistics has appointed Helmut Kaspers to the position of chief operating officer of its Global Air and Ocean Freight unit, effective 1 May, 2015. He will join CEVA’s Executive Board and report directly to CEO Xavier Urbain.
Kaspers joins CEVA from Kaspers Consulting + Investment, an international logistics consultancy established in 2013. He previously held operational and commercial positions with Kuehne & Nagel and DB Schenker.
