Executive Moves: USA Truck, England Logistics, High Road Partners and Renault-Nissan Alliance

USA Truck appoints CEO, while England Logistics and High Road Partners appoint VPs, and the Renault-Nissan Alliance picks new head of supply chain.

   USA Truck, Inc. has recently named Thomas Glaser chief executive officer and president. Former CEO and director John M. Simone has resigned due to health reasons. Glaser had served as USA Truck’s interim chief operating officer for the first half of 2013. He has more than 30 years of management experience in the trucking industry.

   England Logistics has hired Justin Olsen as vice president of legal and risk. He comes to the company with more than 20 years of experience practicing transportation law, construction law, commercial litigation and business organizations and transactions. In 2002, Olsen co-founded the law firm Olsen, Skoubye & Nielson.

   Jon Fricke has been promoted to vice president of High Road Partners, a firm specializing in recruiting managers and executives for transportation, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain firms throughout North America.

   The Renault-Nissan Alliance has appointed Jérôme Olive to executive vice president of manufacturing, engineering and supply chain management, effective Aug. 1. Olive, currently senior vice president for manufacturing and logistics in Europe at Renault, replaces Shohei Kimura who will move to a new position in manufacturing within the Nissan group. Olive joined Renault in 1982.
