USA Truck names new CEO and chief commercial officer, Hansa Heavy Lift appoints managing directors, and FourKites hires chief revenue officer.
USA Truck has named current Chief Financial Officer James D. Reed president and chief executive officer, and James A. Craig to the new role of executive vice president and chief commercial officer.
A 20-year trucking, operations and corporate finance veteran, Reed succeeds Randy Rogers, who is leaving the company to “pursue other opportunities,” and will assume Rogers’ position on the USA Truck board of directors.
Craig joined USA Truck in February 2016 as president of the company’s USAT Logistics business after serving for more than three decades in various roles in the logistics and transportation industry, most recently as chief marketing officer for Berkshire Hathaway’s BNSF Logistics, LLC.
Hansa Heavy Lift has appointed Steve Dawson and Alex Karakassis as managing directors, taking over the responsibilities of outgoing Chief Executive Officer Roger Iliffe, effective immediately. Iliffe is leaving the company to “focus on independently pursuing other opportunities.”
Dawson will oversee Hansa Heavy’s engineering, technical and operational activities, while Karakassis, who remains chief financial officer, will oversee the company’s commercial and financial activities. Both have been with the company since its inception in 2011.
Real-time freight visibility software firm FourKites has hired Steve Bachert as chief revenue officer. He joins the company from Uptake, where he was most recently the vice president of global sales, and will be leading FourKites’ global go-to-market functions and building the foundation of its global sales network.
