Executive Moves: UTi, Long Beach City Council and LogFire

UTi appoints two VPs, while the Long Beach City Council confirms harbor commission appointments and LogFire adds Oracle expert to ranks.

   UTi has appointed Jerry Trimarco global vice president of sales for freight forwarding. He joined UTi in 2010 as vice president of global air product. Before that we worked in various management positions at UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Emery Worldwide and Menlo Worldwide.
   In addition, UTi, has named John Wetherell to vice president of global air product. He joined UTi in 2006 from Exel, where he began his supply chain career at MSAS, holding senior management positions in both operations and product management.

   The Long Beach City Council has confirmed the appointments of Long Beach City College executive Lou Anne Bynum and former City Councilman Doug Drummond to second terms on the Board of Harbor Commissioners.

   LogFire said Mark Lewis has joined the company as Oracle practice director and will be in charge of all aspects of the Oracle and LogFire partnership. Lewis has two decades of supply chain experience, over half of which has been with Oracle.
