Executive Moves: VASCOR, Pace, Little Rock Port

Daugherty leading joint venture of APL and Fujitrans; Proulx heading operations for logistics provider; and Hendricks chairing board.

   Jinny Daugherty has been appointed president and CEO of VASCOR, a joint venture of Singapore-based APL Logistics and Fujitrans Corp. of Japan.
   Daugherty joined VASCOR in 2000 and has held a series of senior financial roles. She had served as chief financial officer since 2014. In her new role, she is responsible for the strategic direction, growth and operating performance of VASCOR, which is based in Georgetown, Ky., and provides third-party logistics services to automotive manufacturers and Class I railroads.

   Kevin Proulx has joined logistics provider Pace in Bessemer, Ala., as its chief operating officer. He will provide strategic and tactical direction to field operations in support of customer accounts. Internally, Proulx will focus on building a strong operations team to meet the near-term and long-term business requirements of Pace’s clients.
   Proulx previously was the vice president of operations for Sysco Foods in southeast Florida.

   The Little Rock Port Authority Board of Directors elected Melissa Hendricks as its chair. Her term will run from July through June 2019. 
   The board also elected Greg Joslin as vice chair and Joe Bailey as treasurer.  
   Hendricks was first appointed to the Little Rock Port Authority in September 2011. She has served as treasurer, vice chairman and chair of the external affairs committee.  
   She has worked in development positions at St. Vincent Foundation, Pulaski Technical College and Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services. She currently is the executive director of Centers for Youth and Families Foundation.
