Executive Moves: Velociti and Fleet Advantage

Nicole D’Agostino is tapped as a business development manager; Don Davis is hired as vice president of strategic fleet solutions.

Velociti Inc., a global provider of technology design, deployment and support services, announced Monday that Nicole D’Agostino has joined the company as a Chicago-based business development manager.
D’Agostino previously worked with American Trucking Associations as an economic research analyst specializing in driver compensation, safety investment and driver turnover studies. She also was a consultant for Gallup, for which she worked on implementing large organizational culture change efforts for various industries.
“Nicole’s experience and understanding of the challenges fleets and drivers face in today’s market will be a huge asset to Velociti,” said COO Deryk Powell. “Most people know us as a technology deployment company, which we are, but our holistic approach enables us to truly partner with our companies.
“We don’t just focus on the devices themselves, we look at the environments utilizing the devices, the drivers, the expected benefits to the fleet,” Powell said. “By considering the whole equation, we offer a much more comprehensive approach to our technology installation and support services.”

Fleet Advantage, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based provider of a truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing and lifecycle cost management, said Monday that Don Davis has been hired as vice president of strategic fleet solutions.
Davis will be responsible for advancing the company’s strategic initiatives and enhancing relationships for private fleet and for-hire carrier clients throughout the United States.
Davis joins Fleet Advantage with more than 25 years of experience with national fleet and transportation companies. Prior to Fleet Advantage, he served as a national accounts sales executive with PACCAR Leasing Co., based in Dallas.
