An office is opening in Seattle and promotions are taking place in London and New York.
Branch owners David Kaletnik and Brian Purugganan will open a Team Worldwide office in Seattle in December.
Kaletnik will serve as CEO and Purugganan will be general manager.
Team Worldwide CEO Jason Brunson said, “The opening of Team Seattle is a strategic part of our domestic and global expansion. Seattle is an important ocean gateway to and from the U.S. It will allow us to better support the needs of our customers in the Northwest and will also help expand our cross-border services with Team Worldwide in Canada.”
The freight forwarder and 3PL provider also has appointed Brandon Singer as the manager of its global service center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Singer has more than 15 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, warehousing, operations, customs brokerage and imports/exports.
KVH Videotel, a provider of training films, computer-based training and e-learning for the maritime industry, has promoted Raal Harris to managing director.
Based in the company’s London office, Harris will be responsible for the overall business, including creative production, content and licensing, product development and sales. He previously was KVH Videotel’s creative content director.
Carrier Logistics Inc. (CLI), an international transportation software developer and engineering consulting firm headquartered in Tarrytown, N.Y., has promoted Kevin Linardic to chief technology officer.
Linardic joined CLI in 1986 after consulting for the organization for two years. He was appointed vice president of technology and a CLI board member in 2008.
