Executive Moves: ZIM and SEKO

ZIM has appointed a president to lead its newly established U.S. agency, while SEKO names chief client solutions officer.

   Israeli ocean carrier ZIM has set up an independent U.S. agency and appointed George Goldman president of the operation, effective Oct. 1. Goldman brings 30 years of shipping industry experience. Prior to joining ZIM, Goldman served as head of commercial and senior vice president for APL Group.

   SEKO Logistics has appointed Randy Sinker to chief client solutions officer. Based in Chicago, his responsibilities include client on-boarding, implementations, account management and customer service. Sinker joined SEKO in 2004 as vice president of international operations and has also served as senior vice president of U.S. operations and chief operating officer for the Americas. He has also worked for CF Air Freight, Emery Worldwide and CEVA.
