ZIM appoints chief digital officer; Schneider Packaging names executive vice president; A.N. Deringer selects director of consulting and a new senior trade advisor; and the Container Owners Association names board member.
Israeli ocean carrier ZIM has appointed Liav Geffen to serve as chief digital officer. Geffen has served as vice president of marketing at Harel Group for the last eight years.
Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., a packaging machinery manufacturer and solutions provider headquartered in Brewerton, N.Y., has named Greg Masingill executive vice president. Masingill worked for Seneca Corp. for 15 years, working his way up the ladder from vice president of sales and marketing, to senior vice president and then president in 2007. In 2015, he traded the corporate life for consulting at Gregor Ventures and became majority owner of Sandler Training’s New York franchise. Since 2016, he has worked as a consultant in leadership and staffing at Schneider.
St. Albans, Vt.-based A.N. Deringer, Inc., an international supply chain solutions provider, has hired Ania Wierzbowska-Fuller to serve as director of consulting. She spent nearly 12 years with Target Corp., most recently as global trade operations manager.
In addition, A.N. Deringer hired a new senior trade advisor, Tammy Flanders Hetrick, who brings nearly 30 years of international trade and logistics experience to the team.
The Container Owners Association (COA), which represents container shipping lines and container leasing companies worldwide, appointed Frank Nachbar, director of container engineering at Hapag-Lloyd, to its board of directors.
