FARSHCHI NAMED CIO FOR DHL AIRWAYS
Shawn Farshchi has been named senior vice president, information services and chief information officer for Redwood City, Calif.-based DHL Airways.
Farshchi will be responsible for telecommunications, technical infrastructure, business applications and electronic information integration and exchanges with customers.
He has been with DHL since 1995, most recently as vice president of infrastructure technology and services. Prior to joining DHL he served in technology engineering and management positions with Syntex Corp., GTE Spacenet, GTE Sprint and Bechtel Power Corp.
