The Florida East Coast Railway’s online tool is designed to simplify booking between certain destinations in the Southeast.
The Florida East Coast Railway will launch an online price quote and booking tool for intermodal freight called EZ Buy on March 1. Users will receive access to dynamic price quotes, while having the ability to quickly book an order, the company said.
Shippers can use EZ Buy to purchase freight transport between Atlanta, Charlotte and Jacksonville and the South Florida markets of Fort Pierce, Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
The new tool differs from the FECR Connect portal, which is a tracking tool.
