FEDEX GROUND OPENS NORTHEAST HUB
FedEx Ground, based in Pittsburgh, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., has opened a new 340,000-square-foot “super hub” in Woodbridge, N.J., just before the start of the peak holiday shipping season.
The fully automated hub, largest in FedEx Ground’s network, employs 775 workers and processes 30,000 packages an hour. The new Woodbridge facility will serve as FedEx Ground’s central distribution point for the New York metropolitan and New Jersey regions.
