Federal Express, the air express division of Memphis-based FDX Corp.,
opened its new $200-million hub facility in Paris Monday.
The 77,000-square-meter terminal at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport was
jointly funded by FedEx and Airoports de Paris. It is FedEx’s largest hub outside the
United States.
The Paris facility will serve as hub for FedEx’s Euro One, a new
intra-European delivery service which will offer guaranteed overnight
delivery by 10:30 a.m. between 38 major European cities.
