Federal Express said its GENCO unit has introduced multi-tenant warehouses in the United States and Canada, which will be particularly valuable for healthcare manufacturers by helping to manage regulatory compliance and alleviate fixed operating costs.
The new GENCO multi-tenant facilities are located in Memphis, Tenn. and Milton, Ontario, comprising 1.1 million square feet and 400,000 square feet, respectively.
GENCO said the warehouses will offer small and medium-sized manufacturers top-tier supply chain solutions, traditionally only used by large-scale customers in dedicated facilities.
“This solution allows multiple manufacturers to operate alongside each other in one warehouse – while utilizing a designated space equipped with a shared technology platform,” the company said.
