Finnair, IAG add cargo capacity between London and Helsinki

Under an expanded capacity sharing agreement, Finnair Cargo and IAG Cargo will launch three additional A350 flights per week between their respective hubs at Helsinki Airport in Finland and London Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom.

   Finnair Cargo and IAG Cargo are adding cargo capacity between Helsinki, Finland and London, United Kingdom under an expanded capacity sharing agreement, Finnair said in a statement today.
   The airfreight carriers will launch three additional A350 freighter flights per week between their respective hubs at Helsinki Airport and London Heathrow Airport, bringing the total to five weekly flights, starting Oct. 3.
   According to the companies, the increased frequency will “allow better connectivity for both partners onto their respective transatlantic and Asian networks.”
