FMC PROMOTES FOUR TO NEW MANAGEMENT POSITIONS
Federal Maritime Commission chairman Hal Creel Jr. has appointed four FMC employees to new management positions.
Frank J. Schwarz has been named deputy director of the agency’s bureau of trade analysis. This office reviews carrier agreements, assesses competitive trade conditions and analyzes service contracts and tariffs.
Anne E. Trotter has been named director of the commission’s office of passenger vessels and information processing. This office is responsible for the agency’s passenger ship program, certain ocean intermediary activities, and maintaining several FMC databases.
Mamie H. Black has been appointed director of the FMC’s office of service contracts and tariffs, which is housed in the bureau of trade analysis.
Karen V. Gregory has been named director of the FMC’s office of economics and competition analysis. This office is also within the bureau of trade analysis.
