FMC reviews 10 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 10 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from CNX America Corp., City of Industry, Calif. (Wade L. Chuang, president); and Merco Cargo, Miami, Fla. (Carlos M. Ruiz, secretary).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from JT Shipping Group, Santa Fe Springs, Calif. (Julia Hawksworth, president); and MAC Transportation Express, Anaheim, Calif. (Bang “Barry” Nguyen, secretary).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from ADN Logistics Group, Miami, Fla. (Aurora F. Goderich, member); Perfect Express Corp., Bensenville, Ill. (Vincent Lu, treasurer); and Pioneer Express, Jacksonville, Fla. (Suzette Allen, vice president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Mota Import Export, Perth Amboy, N.J. (Angel M. Ramirez, chief executive manager); Seafair USA, Miami, Fla. (Thomas Schoett, president); and World Trading Cargo Corp., Miami, Fla. (Miriam P. Rodriguez, assistant director of compliance).

Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — are also available on the FMC website.
