The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from FA Logistics International Corp., Miami (Franklin Almeida, president).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Core One Logistics, Pembroke Park, Fla. (Etan Raz, manager); Oddessa Imports Corp., Miami (Gustavo A. Lozano, president); and Paza Motors, Jacksonville, Fla. (Mona A. Hussein, president).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Braid Projects (USA), Houston (Kostas G. Chalos, president); Domex Superfresh Growers, Yakima, Wash. (Kevin Kershaw, director of logistics); and Iramat Shipping and Logistics, West Warwick, R.I. (Hakeem B. Alabi, managing member).
In addition, the agency received applications for changes to a qualifying individual from A Active Freezone Cargo, Miami (Pauk Mak, operations manager); and USTC Global, Torrance, Calif. (Michael Suh, chief executive officer); for a trade name addition from M&S Logistics LLC, Pearland, Texas (Willem J. Roldaan, manager) to include M&S Logistics; and for a transfer from Superior International Group, Chino, Calif. (Steven Wong, president) to VMS International.
