FMC reviews 11 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Cargo Link Express, Houston, Texas (Todd Thompson, vice president of sales); and Pro Ace Logistics, Chino Hills, Calif. (Eric S. Lee, president).
   The agency received a NVO/ocean freight forwarder license application from Iplogistics, Millbrae, Calif. (John S. Kim, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Gulfport Logistics, Cypress, Texas (Tiffni Clement, president); and KYS Logistics, City of Industry, Calif. (Kevin L. Sin, chief executive officer).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Independent Ocean Services, New York (Thierry R. Lamy, director); L.A. Logistics, McHenry, Ill. (Christina Demann, assistant chief operating officer); Kerry Freight (USA), Long Beach, Calif. (Pedro Cardenas, secretary officer); and KFS, Fort Worth, Texas (Joel Wilson, vice president); for addition of trade names Global Consolidators Alliance and GCA from CaroTrans International, Clark, N.J. (Greg Howard, president); and for a name change to Cargo Master Services Logistics from CMS Logistics, Compton, Calif. (Jae W. Chang, president).
