The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Anchor Group, San Marino, Calif. (Chao-Yi Kuo, vice president); and Oceanika Express, Medley, Fla. (Benigno Martin, chief executive officer).
The agency also received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Goldmar Corp., Miami (Enrique J. Chia, vice president); ICA Logistics, Houston (Qadir A. Wakkiluddin, secretary); Pinnacle International, Madison, Ala. (Johnny M. Summers, manager); and Sapphire Worldwide, Miramar, Fla. (Yolanda Vila, managing member).
In addition, the FMC received applications for changes to a qualifying individual from DJS International Services, Colleyville, Texas (Paul F. Sekin, vice president); Exel Global Logistics, Sterling, Va. (SueAnn Fulton, president); Inter-American Movers and Forwarders, Miami (Alejandro Jerez, managing member); and M Forwarder, Jamaica, N.Y. (Rick C.Y. Ma, director); and for a name change from Armada Service, Baltimore (Katrina N. Dill, managing member) to Premium Logistics North America.
