The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 12 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from ATA Logistics NY, Jamaica, N.Y. (Rende Li, president); and C&E Optimum Logistics Pty. Ltd., Kingsgrove, Australia (Fan Wang, director).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from 7 Freight Services, Foxboro, Mass. (Mary T. Steele, member); American Shipping International, Hazlet, N.J. (Christopher L. Loux, member); Capital Logistics International, White Plains, N.Y. (John Madigan, member); Galaxy Worldwide Logistics, Jamaica, N.Y. (Joshua Reichman, vice president of sales and marketing); and KBX, Witchita, Kans. (Dong Jin “DJ” Shin, vice president).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from 506 Relocation Services, Carlsbad, Calif. (Jensy J. Gonzalez, member); and Allports Import Export, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Toni Faillace, president).
In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Aerotyme, Kenner, La. (Paul C. Tallman, president); and Transportes Zuleta Express, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Milton A. Valle, president); and for a business structure change to an L.L.C. from Dupuy Storage and Forwarding Corp., New Orleans (Allan B. Colley, member).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
