FMC reviews 12 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 12 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Blue Point Line, Houston, Texas (Gustavo Kolmel, member/manager); Hosford International, Erie, Pa. (Donald A. Hosford, president); Eric Radley, San Rafeal, Calif. (Eric Radley, sole proprietor); and William’s Caribbean Shipping & Delivery Services, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Charles Williams, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Andes Logistics USA, Miami, Fla. (Orlando F. Vivas, manager); Go Global Cargo, Doral, Fla. (Bashir Aboukhalil, president); New Transport USA, Miami, Fla. (Maria D. Hurtado, manager); and WI Shipping Co., Selden, N.Y. (Imran Sheiraz, member).
   The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Carisam-Samuel Meisel, Doral, Fla. (David Granek, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Dey Cargo Corp., Atlanta, Ga. (Scott W. George, secretary); and GTS Cargo, Miami, Fla. (Erick Severi Cicala, president); and Bayberry Logistics, Arnold, Md. (Elliot Nudell, member).

Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — are also available on the FMC website.
