FMC reviews 12 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 12 license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Midas International Investments, Laurel, Md. (Ademola Oreagba, president); and Sealand Freight, Houston (Walid M. Hattab, chief executive member).
   The agency received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from E.M. Global Cargo, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (Eugenio J. Martinez, president); Lynx Global Corp., Miami (Eugenio J. Clur, director); and One Shipping, Lincolnwood, Ill. (Steven Chong, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications Aieca International Logistics Corp., Miami (Humberto E. Espinora, president); Boacon Synergy, Loveland, Ohio (Benjamin Afolabi, president); Eastern Express Cargo, San Diego (Alex O. De Guzman, president); Friendship Logistics, Springfield, Va. (Feras Hindi, member); Kemka USA, South Plainfield, N.J. (Hsiang “Rita” Y. Hsiao, member); and Markland Investments, Atlanta (Mark Asare, president).
   In addition, the agency received an application for a change to qualifying individual from Fil Lines USA, Woodbridge, N.J. (Ramesh Krishnan, director).
