FMC reviews 13 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 13 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 13 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Godsway Amedzrovi, Houston (Godsway Amedzrovi, owner); Logistics Resources Group, Overland Park, Kans. (Eric Friedlander, manager); and Upper Logistics, Coconut Creek, Fla. (Ismeal Lasso, chief operating officer).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from E Cargo, Chino Hills, Calif. (Shou C. Chen, president); and Phoenix Cargo, Atlanta (Onyi E. Michael, member).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from OnAir Express Group, Farmers Branch, Texas (Suniel Sabharwal, member); and Washington Global Logistics, Renton, Wash. (Irene Cheng, member).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Ace Relocation Systems, San Diego (Richard J. Clarke, vice president of sales and marketing); Anchor Group, City of Industry, Calif. (Wen “Wendy” H. Qu, secretary); ARCA International, Orlando, Fla. (Lawrence R. Lammers, president); Caesar Shipping & Logistics (USA) Co. Ltd., Rowland Heights, Calif. (Wen Wang, secretary); LinkEx, Carrollton, Texas (Kristin Cellerini, vice president of international); and MPM USA, Miami (Susana Octavio, manager).
   Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
